Greetings, blog readers! This post is very overdue, but here’s a quick update on some exciting news:
1. I will be going back to Cameroon in January with John Dallmann and a team from the U.S. to assist refugees from Central African Republic. I am particularly looking forward to the possibility of helping start some water wells and provide some sanitation guidance for the refugees. We will be distributing food/supplies and ministering to these new residents of eastern Cameroon who were forced from their home-land and robbed of their cattle. Please begin to pray for these refugees who are streaming into Cameroon, and pray for the U.S. team as we begin trip preparations. I’ll update much more on this in the coming days…You can read some more about ways you can help at BGC’s Instill Hope page.
2. I was recommended without conditions for long-term missionary ministry after 3 intense days of missionary assessment at the Baptist General Conference’s (BGC) Missionary Assessment Center a few weeks ago. This is added confirmation and an answer to prayer as I work here in the U.S. with hopes of being somewhere in West Africa within the next 5 years! Praise God for new friendships and what I hope is only the beginning of relationships with BGC International Ministries. I would ask for your continued prayers over the coming years of making more definite plans for long-term missions.
